Our Methodology:

1. Discovery - The first step in our process of building a web site is conducting a preliminary interview to establish the needs of our client.  We answer questions, but more importantly, we ask questions to identify the target audience and their needs, define site goals, site architecture, appropriate technologies, general design concepts, content areas and working relationship.  Domain name and hosting needs are clarified.  After your needs have been accessed, we develop a project timeline and job quote.  
   
   
2. Resources - Domain name and web site hosting is acquired as needed.  Images, artwork, and copy needs are defined.  Existing resources are delivered to VEH Enterprises, Inc.™.  Resources may alternatively be created in-house by VEH Enterprises, Inc.™, or arrangements made with the client for the creation and/or provision of additional resources.
   
   
3. Prototype - We will conduct brainstorming sessions to develop an initial design mockup, usually the home page.  The design mockup is further developed into the initial interface design template.
   
   
4. Production - All pages are composed and optimized for search engine placement.  Functional aspects (i.e., forms, CGI, JavaScript, server-side coding and database programming, etc.) are coded and unit tested.  The initial site is presented to the client and revised based on client feedback. The site is then subjected to a rigorous quality assurance beta test.
   
   
5. Delivery - The site goes live.  Two to four weeks thereafter is usually allowed for any errors, bugs, or minor issues to surface and be resolved.  
   
   
6. Promotion - The site is registered with the major search engines.  Other marketing plans are implemented or created.

After Delivery:

1. Periodic Updates - Modifications to the site, including adding new content as appropriate, may be obtained through a maintenance contract or by hourly fee.
   
   
2. Continuing Maintenance - Ongoing maintenance include upgrading the site to accommodate new coding and technological advances, search engine ranking changes, and Federal regulations.  We automatically monitor search engine ranking and tweak pages and/or meta tags if needed.
